2026 Year 12 College Ball
On Saturday, 9 May, Mindarie Senior College held the 2026 Year 12 College Ball at The Westin Perth, to celebrate the important milestone of students completing their schooling journey.
Over 400 students and guests attended the event, looking fantastic in their glamourous gowns and suits. Students were served a delicious banquet whilst enjoying the evening’s entertainment, including close-up magic tricks from mesmerising magician Toby Z and caricatures from hugely popular sketch artist Rick from Sketch My Event.
A special appearance from the College’s very own talented staff band ‘The Mindoozies’ (who had rehearsed for weeks just for the event!), drew students to the dancefloor, where they remained for the rest of the evening, also dancing the night away to music from DJ Henry.
Students loved posing against the photo backdrops with professional photographers Bliss Photography on hand to capture their memories throughout the event.
College Captain Leilani Sawyer and Vice Captains Lylah Mulroy and Layla Sawyer did a wonderful job of hosting the evening including announcing the winners of the special student awards, voted on by both students and staff on the night. Congratulations to the following award winners:

- Best Arrival – Mairead Stubberfield
- Yin and Yang (Most Iconic Duo) – Eva Allan & Lily Morris
- Belle of the Ball – Passion Goto
- Beau of the Ball – Austin Ridley-Jarvis
We are so proud of our Year 12 cohort, it was a pleasure to see the warmth, positivity and genuine enjoyment evident throughout the night. Staff from the hotel commented on what a respectful, mature group of students they are.
The College extends its sincere thanks to Year 12 Leader Kath Gilbert and the Student Services Team for their months of planning to organise such a memorable occasion for our Class of 2026.
