2026 Arts Week – Photography, Visual Art, Textiles, Drama & Media Showcase
On Monday, 14 September our Arts Week kicked off with Visual Arts, Photography, Textiles, Media and Drama Showcases celebrating the incredible creativity, talent and dedication of our Arts students.
From stunning ceramics, photography, visual artworks and handcrafted Met Gala-inspired bodices on display in the Atrium Gallery, to original drama performances and documentary-style films in the PA Space, the evening showcased an impressive range of student work.
Congratulations to all award recipients, including the nine Year 11 General students; Tia L M, Timea K, Jasmine H, Farron C, Lotte I, Brooke K, Jessica L, Shamiso S and Grace P, whose ceramic plate artworks were selected for this year’s Principal Award, to be used on the 2026 College card.
Special congratulations to Scarlett P and Austin R-J, whose outstanding artworks have been acquired for the College collection, each receiving $400.
A special thank you to Mark Folkard MLA for sponsoring the Art Acquisition Award, awarded to Scarlett P and to former student and visual artist Sam Bloor for sponsoring the Emerging Artist Award, presented to Alyssa R.
