2026 Year 11 Health Expo

2026 Year 11 Health Expo

On Thursday, 18 June, the College hosted its annual Health Expo, showcasing the creativity, knowledge and hard work of our Year 11 General Health Studies students.

As part of their assessment, students researched important health issues facing society today and created informative, interactive exhibition stalls to educate and engage the College community.

Throughout the morning, students and staff explored the displays and took part in a range of hands-on health and wellbeing activities. A crowd favourite was the pedal-powered smoothie bike, where participants generated their own smoothie using pedal power! Royal Life Saving WA’s interactive display also proved incredibly popular, delivering an important message about the dangers of alcohol consumption around water.

Congratulations to our Year 11 General Health Studies students for the outstanding effort they put into planning, creating and presenting their exhibition stalls.

A big thank you to Adelle MacDonald and the College Health & Wellbeing Committee for organising this valuable event, and all other staff who supported it.

We also extend our sincere thanks to our community exhibitors for sharing their expertise and supporting our students:

  • Child and Adolescent Health Service (CAHS) Immunisation Team and Emma Storey, our College Community Health Nurse
  • DonateLife
  • Rotary Club of Mindarie
  • Royal Life Saving WA
  • WA Apples and Pears
  • Zero2Hero

Thank you to everyone who helped make this year’s Health Expo such an engaging and educational experience!
