Year 12 Presentation Evening - Monday, 28 October 2019

The Year 12 Presentation Evening is the Colleges’ final Year 12 formal event involving the acknowledgment of outstanding student achievements, speeches and performances by our talented Performing Arts students.  This is a significant occasion where we celebrate and farewell the Class of 2019.  Students will be dressed in an academic gown and will cross the dais to be recognised for their commitment to secondary schooling.  All students are expected to maintain their good standing or their right to attend the Presentation Evening may be rescinded.

TIME:               4.00pm to 6.00pm - For Professional Photos @ MSC

6.30pm to 9.30pm – Presentation Ceremony @ Quinns Baptist College Auditorium

VENUE:            Quinns Baptist College, 8 Salerno Drive, Mindarie

Limit of 2 tickets per family
Year 12 students do not require a ticket

 

How do I collect the tickets?

There is a maximum of two tickets available per family.  The two tickets are free and are available to be collected from Student Services from Monday, 23 September.  
All seating will be allocated due to seating restrictions.  
Spare tickets are unlikely due to venue capacity. Families can be placed on a waiting list by calling Student Services.  One week prior to the event, families on this waitlist will be notified by email if there are any spare tickets. This will operate on a first-in, best served basis.
If you would prefer for your two tickets to be separated for seating, please ask for this when collecting tickets.

 

What time do students arrive?

Students are required to arrive at Mindarie Senior College Sports Hall at 5:40pm to be issued their gown.
Students have been briefed on the format of the ceremony in two separate assemblies in Weeks 9 & 10.

 

What do students wear?

Students are expected to dress in neat respectable attire.
Each student will be issued with an academic gown which will be worn for the ceremony and collected at the end of the evening.

 

What time do I need to arrive?

Auditorium doors will open at 6:20pm for a 6:30pm start. Guests must sit in their allocated seats.
Please ensure you bring your ticket to gain entry into the auditorium and  be shown to your allocated seat.
There will be no refreshments available during the ceremony. Bottles of water only are permitted in the venue.

 

Where do I park?

Parking is available at Mindarie Senior College, Quinns Baptist College or Peter Moyers Anglican Community School.

 

How do I arrange professional photography?

Bliss Studio will be at the presentation to capture all the moments of this important milestone.
Bliss Studio will also be available prior to the ceremony at Mindarie College from 4:00pm to 6.00pm for family and individual portraits in the MSC Atrium and Courtyard with light refreshments and entertainment provided.  
During the ceremony all proceedings on stage will be photographed – certificate presentations, awards, performances and speakers.
Please note: There will be no professional photos available after the ceremony.
