On Thursday the 4th of August, the Year 12 Sustainability Mentor put together a fantastic display. The students worked hard to create exhibits on a variety of different Sustainability topics such as recycling, a plant mix and match and sustainable body scrubs. Kinross College students also attended to show off what they had created.
The Department of Parks and Wildlife and Water Corp were amongst the visiting exhibitors that were a hit with the students. The exhibitors allowed the students to learn about wildlife, handle a snake, cuddle a koala and have a go on the rowing machine.
As always, the expo was run by Tracy Smith and Elise Gaglio who, along with their mentor, created a brilliant day. The College would like to thank Minister for Environmental; Heritage and Member for Ocean Reef, Hon. Albert Jacob MLA for attending on the day and getting involved in the events.
