On the 28th of April 2016 Mindarie Senior College hosted its annual ANZAC Day service.  Alongside the Year 11 cohort the College hosted veterans from Cambrai village, Quinns RSL, Merriwa RAAFA, and other special guests.

During the assembly many speakers informed us of a wide variety of memorable stories from the war. Our guest speaker Brian Prangnell OAM told the crowd about a link between some fallen soldiers names and the key streets within our community.

The ceremony also featured memorable musical numbers from Year 11 students Caitlin English and Mia Buttsworth as well as a beautiful rendition of the Australian National Anthem by Year 12 student Fiona Wilkes.

Lest we forget.
