It was another wonderful night of celebrations on Tuesday, 24 August when the College came together to recognise our Year 11 students who achieved their first Colours Award.

Over 110 parents and staff attended to see 57 students be awarded their Year 11 Semester One Colours Award badge and certificate for their excellent achievement in in a range of fields including performance, community, endeavour and academic.

The College would like to thank our guest speaker and former student Robyn Streczynski (2014) for taking the audience on her journey since leaving Mindarie Senior College.  Robyn gave the students some important messages she has learnt since leaving school.

A special thank you to our invited guests Professor Steve Chapman (College Board Member and ECU Vice Chancellor), Mrs Sue Egerton (College Board Member and North Metro TAFE Director) and Mr Mark Folkard MLA (Member for Burns Beach) for attending and to help present the awards to the students.

Our Music students are also to be acknowledged for their performances throughout the evening – Maisy Fowler, Charli Walsh, Janelle Reyneke and Rita PhobubpaI.
