On Tuesday, 11 August over 140 parents, students and staff attended the Year 11 Colours Evening for 2020.

Fifty-seven students were recognised and awarded Colours badges and certificates for their excellent achievement in Semester One in a range of fields including performance, community, endeavour and academic.

Students and parents were entertained by our music students and catering was supplied by ‘Fresh As’ café.

The guest speaker was Rhys Lander, 2017 graduate, who spoke about his successes in the General pathway while at the College and how he changed direction after a year of acting to attend university to become a high school teacher.  Rhys’s speech was well received by all demonstrating that it is never too late to find your career path.

The College would like to acknowledge the invited guests who presented certificates  to the students, Ms Sue Egerton - College Board Member, Mr Mark Folkard MLA - Member for Burns Beach and Mr John Avenell - Kinross College Associate Principal.

Congratulations to all students who received a Colours Award.  To see a list of all the award winners, please click HERE
