On Thursday, 21 June Mindarie Senior College hosted the eleventh Community Health Expo.

This year the displays were created by the and the Year 11 General Health Studies students and the event was organised by the Health & Phys-Ed Department. This annual event was attended by all staff and students.
The atrium was transformed into a vibrant setting for the community agencies who set up displays and ran interactive activities to showcase facilities and services available within the community for young adults.  The event was a huge success with all students spending time at the displays and gaining valuable knowledge from the various organisations.
Students also had the opportunity to view a multimedia presentation by Motivational Media called 'Take the Lead' which focused on young people reaching for their goals, no matter what they are.  Students from Peter Moyes Anglican Community School and Thornlie SHS visited the College to view the displays and Multimedia presentation.
The College would like to thank Bree Mulder for the organisation of the event, all the Year 11 General Health students for their preparation and running of their interactive stalls and all staff who assisted throughout the day ensuring that the event ran smoothly.

Special thanks to the exhibitors who participated in the event.
