On Tuesday 4 September the night began with some very entertaining Media productions presented by the Year 11 and 12 Media students. There was a beautiful photographic display from our Photography students in the foyer for guests to view.

The second half of the programme was Dance with the theme of “Villains” running through the performances. The Year 11 and 12 Dance students were stunning in their performances and colourful costumes and it was wonderful to see the Year 10 students from Kinross College included in the show for the first time.

Special thanks to our guest choreographers, professional dancers Kristy Lee-Dellar and Janelle Vaccaro.

We would also like to thank MSC Alumni, Choreographer Jessica Cruse (2012) and our fantastic opening performance by PLUMP Dance Crew including Cheryl Lee (2012).

The speeches at the end of the night really showed how much these students gained from their dance classes and the positive impact our teachers have had on the lives of their students. A truly moving speech by the dance teacher, Pamela Konijn, reminding us of the privilege it is to be a teacher and the influence and responsibility we have in shaping young people’s lives.
