Year 12 Presentation Event – Now On Sale

The Year 12 Presentation Day is the final formal event for Year 12 students. This is a significant occasion where we celebrate and farewell the Class of 2025.

Awards will be given for outstanding achievement and community involvement, and our talented performing arts students will also showcase their talents during the event.

Students will be dressed in an academic gown and will cross the stage to be recognised for their commitment to secondary schooling.

Students will be briefed on the format of the ceremony in two separate assemblies in week nine. All students are expected to maintain their good standing until they leave the College, or their right to attend the Presentation Evening may be withdrawn.

What time does the event start and finish?

The ceremony will commence in the River View Room at 3.00pm with guest seating from 2.45pm. Students are required to arrive at 1.00pm at Optus Stadium (Gates C & D, Doors 7 & 8) to be issued with their gowns.

The event will conclude at approximately 6.00pm and all students are expected to stay inside the River View Room until this time.

What do students wear?

Students are expected to dress in neat, respectable attire. Footwear needs to be suitable for walking across the stage; so very high heels should not be worn.

Each student will be issued with an academic gown and sash upon arrival at the venue which will be worn over their clothes for the duration of the ceremony. At the end of the presentations, students will be required to remain in the River View Room to receive their presentation packs from their Mentor teachers. They will then be required to return their gowns to the gowning station in the foyer before departing the venue. Gowns must NOT be taken home.

Will refreshments be available to purchase at the venue?

Tea, coffee, soft drinks and snacks (packets of crisps, chocolate bars etc) will be available for purchase from The Champions Terrace before the afternoon’s proceedings commence. Please note that no meals will be available to purchase. As it is a school event, alcohol will not be served. Please note that there will be no food vendors open at Optus Stadium, so we encourage you to eat something substantial before you arrive. Alternatively, City View Café, located within Optus Stadium, and The Camfield, located next door are two options for lunch prior to the event or for dinner afterwards.

How do I get there?

TRAIN – Take the train on the Joondalup line to Optus Stadium. Travel time is approximately 53 minutes from Clarkson Station. The 11:59am train will get you there at 12:52pm. See the Transperth Journey Planner to plan your journey: Transperth Journey Planner

PARKING – Alternatively, there will be limited parking available on the Northern Oval at Optus Stadium. Stadium maps can be downloaded here: Stadium Park Map

Is there professional photography?

Bliss Studio will be on site to capture all the moments of this important milestone.

Individual and family photography will be available from 12.30pm in the concourse area of Gates C & D, and again after the ceremony. All proceedings on stage during the ceremony will be photographed. Details on how to order the photos will be included in the students’ presentation packs.

I look forward to celebrating your young person’s final year of schooling at this prestigious event.
