Course Outline
Students will be given an opportunity to develop and demonstrate increasing competence in the core skills for work, often referred to as generic, transferable or employability skills. Students will learn to apply and adapt workplace skills that are necessary to understand and carry out different types of work.
Some industries are extremely difficult to place students in and these are outlined in the application form. Parents/ students will need to source their own placement in these industries. Once the placement has been confirmed students are required to complete a structured series of work tasks in their workplace, with Wednesday designated as the placement day.
