2025 Sustainability Expo

On Thursday, 7 August the College held the annual ‘Sustainability Expo’ showcasing the Sustainability’s Crews work as well as stalls from external organisations.
This was the twelfth year the College has held the Expo recognising the importance of sustainability and our personal responsibility to be global citizens. It also celebrates our contribution to ensuring a more sustainable future for everyone.
The College would like to acknowledge the following external stall-holders for their participation on the day: City of Wanneroo, Perth Reptiles, West Oz Wildlife, Bunnings Mindarie, Waste Sorted, Sea Shepard, Messines Bee Farm, Keep Australia Beautiful and the Water Corporation, along with MSC staff members Mrs Jayne Hemsley and Mrs Sam McMullen for taking the time to produce their wonderful stalls.
A special thank you to our invited guests – Tracey Roberts MP, Member for Pearce & College Board Chairperson, Senior Sergeant Darryl Fuller from Clarkson Police Station and a College Board member and Mr Mark Folkard MLA, Member for Burns Beach who all took time out of their busy day to attend the expo and interact with the exhibitors.
Sustainability is a cross-curricular priority and is embedded into all course’s students’ study at the College. It was great to see all MSC students and staff engage with the stalls to increase awareness of how to be sustainable.
A big thank you to our wonderful staff members who made the expo possible, Ms Selena Tate and Ms Renae Jackson along with their wonderful Sustainability Crew students – Madison Fabre, Ava Hawley, Carla Janse van Rensburg, Jade Pearce, Austin Ridley-Jarvis, Mathew Roux, Heather Savery, Leilani Sawyer, Natalie Self, Leaha Shaw-Walker, Shanika Swartz, Isabella (Bella)Toia, Nhu Tong, Anchen Van Niekerk, Estrella Brooke Yanez-Barnuevo.
