On Tuesday, 2 March, over 170 parents, students, staff and guests attended the Year 12 Colours Evening where 70 students were recognised and awarded Colours badges and certificates for their excellent achievement from Semester 2, 2020 in a range of fields including performance, community work, endeavour and academic results.

All guests were entertained by our Music students and catered for by ‘Fresh As’ Café.  Well done to Isabelle Pitulej who performed ‘Pure Imagination’ and Piper Day, Molly Day, Indi Leefe and Daniel Ainsworth who performed ‘I Love Rock n Roll’.

The guest speaker for the evening was Amber Johnston who graduated from the College in 2011. Amber spoke about how she always wanted to be a journalist and eventually achieved her goal through perseverance and persistence.  She now works for Channel 7 as a tv news journalist and has also worked for A Current Affair.

The College would like to thank our College Board members for taking the time to attend the event and help present the awards to students - Professor Steve Chapman, Mrs Sue Egerton and Mr Mike Gilbert.

Please contact Kathy Rigby in Student Services on 6207 5519 or  Mindarie.SC.StudentServices@education.wa.edu.au if you would like a copy of your child receiving their award.

You can see the list of Colours Award Winners from the night here.
