On Thursday, 6 February the College held an assembly to recognise achievements from Year 11 students in 2019. Students were acknowledged and congratulated in front of students, staff and family members.
Guest speaker, and 2019 graduate, Ashlyn Foster gave students tips about making the most of Year 12 by accessing teachers for support and assistance. She also reiterated how it is not too late to learn how to implement the study techniques taught. Ashlyn was awarded a Certificate of Distinction from the Schools Curriculum and Standards Authority for her WACE achievements.
We also acknowledged the new Year 12 Student Councillors who will join the current Student Council this year – Dani McNaught, Naomi Pitcher, Ever Robinson and Rebecca Robson.
Congratulations to all the students who were recognised at the assembly.
