Course Outline

This course is a continuation from Year 11 Computer Science ATAR Course. The emphasis in Year 12 is on database structures and approaches to computer programming. It should be noted that the course concentrates on the theory of computer programming fundamentals, however also includes practical computer programming.

Students will not only learn how to do basic programming but also how to write algorithms.

Students will again be expected to design, implement and evaluate computer based information systems using a variety of productivity and/or programming tools.

This course provides students with a solid basis for further tertiary study in a wide range of disciplines.
