This is a two year course which allows students to develop practical skills in the use and application of digital media technology, as well as introduce them to the many career opportunities available within the Creative Industries.
The course is concerned with skill and knowledge development within several focus areas such as photography, video and audio production.
Core units cover critical thinking & problem solving, effective teamwork, developing industry knowledge, and working in a way that maintains their health and safety.
The Course is project based where students develop and demonstrate key competencies. They work individually and in teams to create professional media products that appeal to contemporary audiences.
The College is equipped with a High Definition Television Studio that is regarded as one of the finest within the state public education system.

CUAIND201 Develop and apply creative arts industry knowledge
CUAWHS302 Apply work health and safety practices
BSBWOR202 Organise and complete daily work activities
CUASOU203 Assist with sound recordings
Completed some computing/media units in Years 8, 9, 10 or 11.
Certificate, Diploma and Advanced Diploma courses within the VET system.
