On Tuesday, 28 August 190 parents, staff and students attended the final Year 12 Colours Evening.  Eighty five students were recognised and awarded Colours badges and certificates for their excellent achievement in a range of fields including performance, community work, endeavour and academic results.

The night was well supported by parents, family and staff and all were entertained by our Music students and catered for by our Food Tech and Catering Mentor students.  The guest speaker was Nicholle Harris, a 2011 graduate, who went on to study a Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Western Australia. Nicholle is proud to define herself as a self-starter and shared some useful insights into life after Mindarie Senior College, and how to make the most of the years to come.

The College would like to thank our Board Members, Prof. Steve Chapman, ECU Vice Chancellor and Ms Leanne Shepherd who helped present the certificates to students.

Congratulations to all the students who achieved Colours, and in particular to our students from our graduating class of 2018 who achieved Full Colours. Full Colours is awarded to students who have received a Colours award each semester in Year 11 and the first semester in Year 12.  These students will be recognised again at their Presentation Evening on Wednesday, 24 October and their names will appear on the College’s Honour Board in the Atrium.
